Medicare OEP: Final Chance to Change

Medicare Advantage members can change plans before the window closes on March 31.
After OEP, most stay in their current plan for the rest of 2026 unless eligible for special enrollment.
Real-world use may reveal out-of-network doctors, nonpreferred pharmacies, or weaker dental/hearing allowances than expected.
OEP allows 1 switch to another Medicare Advantage plan; review doctors, meds, pharmacy, and extra benefits first.
March changes start the first day of the following month; after processing, no more changes until fall AEP.
